Ilona has never forgotten her roots. She has achieved success through hard work and perseverance, but she has always supported those in need, whether it is families, young people, the elderly, the unemployed, the sick or even the arts.
Ilona and Péter have been long-time supporters of the International Children's Rescue Service, which helps disadvantaged children across the country.
In 2019, the family became a group sponsor of the organisation, making a long-term commitment - hopefully for 16 years.
The Zsidai Group has joined the Foundation's Scholarship Programme, which provides monthly financial support to four disadvantaged children who are excelling in their studies, from the second grade of primary school until they graduate from university.
Ilona's roots go back to Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County. We tried to select talented children from the most disadvantaged municipalities, and the family has a connection to Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county. Ilona was born here, her parents lived here and are buried here. The family visits the county regularly to this day.
With this support, the family, and thus the Zsidai Group, aims to do as much as possible for hard-working and persistent students who would otherwise not have the opportunity to attend extra lessons or to buy instruments and sports equipment needed to achieve their goals.
We are keen on supporting all four students on a monthly basis until the end of their university studies, so that when they graduate, we feel that our support has contributed to the positive development of four human destinies.
