Baltazár Grill opened in 2013, but the 11-room boutique hotel was only completed in September.
A lot of meticulous work preceded the opening, especially on the design side. The 11 rooms of the Baltazár Hotel have a unique design, no two rooms are the same.
Our 'story' is about this today.
Roy says that if he wasn't an economist, he would probably have studied architecture and became an interior designer. Hence his desire to design and organise interiors.
His partner, or as Roy puts it, intellectual partner is graphic designer Géza Ipacs, with whom the Zsidai Group has been working faithfully for almost 15 years.
The fact that Géza is not known by many people is only due to the fact that he does not promote himself, he does not even have a website, he works modestly and very productively from his studio in Eger, his clients find him. Although just yesterday he told me that he is finally creating a website.
Géza cannot be left out of the 40-year commemoration. Roy's collaborating partner, with whom we are always patient and let the creative idea ripen in him, because you can't push him anyway - even if Roy tries.
This is how Géza looks back on their work together. “I really liked the style Roy had in mind. I think that even though we had worked together several times before, it took Spíler for us to really understand each other's operation. I've since come to think of Roy as a creative partner rather than a client when working together."
