Under yesterday's 40 years, 40 stories post, a dear old friend commented that the "soul of Pierrot was called Ilona Zsidai, her personality was Pierrot."
We cannot go besides that so we have a story for that too.
Ilona resigned from HungarHotels in the summer of 1982. She packed her little Volkswagen Beetle into her car, and to this day she remembers clearly the moment as she drove through the Chain Bridge, tears flowing, driving from the beloved certainty to the unknown uncertainty, towards her own business.
It wasn't easy to make such a big change at that time, especially as she loved and enjoyed his work so much. She was successful, she loved his colleagues, she was surrounded by great people, she could travel, which was a privilege at the time, and she had opportunities that very few people had at the time.
She achieved success through diligent study and perseverance. She always strived for better and better, and people noticed that.
Sooner or later humble work will always pay off.
Eventually life proved her right: if you listen to your instincts and believe in yourself, you have to be brave, even if others don't understand your decision.
Later, of course, she received a lot of positive feedback, which confirmed that she was on the right track.
Pierrot opened without anyone knowing about it but Ilona and Peter's friends. They wanted to see how it worked and what the first reactions were.
Words spread quickly, first among the young people, then among their parents and grandparents.
Ilona recalled. “I felt I created something that brought joy to many people."
The desire to create and to give pleasure is what drives the Zsidai Group forward today, along with all its colleagues.
